Harrison Bae Wein is author of the novel The Life and Opinions of the Housecat Hastings, the witty autobiography of a sophisticated housecat with a serious mission: to raise the social status of the feline species.
Harrison Bae Wein’s fiction has appeared in several literary journals. His series of laboratory stories, Blinded by Science, was the first fiction ever published at LabLit.com.
Harrison received a Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology from the University of California at Berkeley. Soon afterward, he left the lab to become a health and science writer. His work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Richmond Times-Dispatch and many other outlets. He currently edits two health publications and lives in Maryland with his family, which includes two cats.
His forthcoming novel is called Echoes.
